Firehouse Renovation – Update #1

September 20, 2012

DC F&EMS successfully secured a contract with skilled stone masons to perform the work needed to expand the two front doors. The stone masons currently restoring the Cathedral, and who had previously worked on the Pentagon restoration, will work on Engine 28.

On September 19, 2012, DC F&EMS hosted representatives of the CPCA and CPHS on a walk-through of Engine 28 to show the progress of the renovation. Below are photographs from the walk-through.
